Trickshot Kai’sa
Items
Kai’sa does notable ability damage so Infinity Edge is nice to have. Shojin is strong as she has 75 mana. Armor shred is very important, either through Last Whisper or Evenshroud. Other good Kai’sa items include anything that gives AD or AS such as Deathblade, Runaan’s Hurricane, Giant Slayer, Guardbreaker, etc. If you have Tattoo of Fury or Bombardment from Inkshadow, you should place those on Kai’sa. Antiheal is nice to have as with in every comp.
Frontline items will typically be whatever components you have leftover; good frontline items include Crownguard, Warmog’s, Vow, Adaptive Helm, Dragon’s Claw, Stoneplate, Bramble Vest, Steadfast Heart, Evenshroud (if no LW), and Sunfire Cape (if no other antiheal). As always, pay attention to your item economy as Gloves are very valuable so you should avoid building Steadfast Heart unless you already have your carry items. Similarly, Tears and Rods are less valuable so building Crownguard and Redemption can be a good option.
Positioning
Kai’sa gains AD and AS buffs from Sivir, Kayle, Senna, and Alune. Kayle and Senna need to be in the same row next to Kai’sa in order to buff her, while Sivir can be adjacent in front. This positioning makes Kai’sa vulnerable to largest clump effects but benefiting from all 3 steroids is usually worth it. Alune will buff Kai’sa in the same row so she can be placed far away to avoid AoE. Make sure your strongest tank, antiheal, and sunder are close to Kai’sa’s target.
Board Examples
Boards are just an example of what you might play at various stages; for example your level 8 might be 4 Bruiser + 4 Trickshot.
Stage 2 (Add Bruiser or Warden at level 5)
Stage 3 (Add Storyweaver at level 7)
Stage 4 (Level 8 without legendaries)
Stage 5 (level 8 with core legendaries)
Stage 6 (level 9 adding Azir)
